Just a little sneak peak into this weeks “remodel” at TL.
Get yourself some laps at Canaan before it’s gone. Fresh groomed lap on middle ridge and promised land.
Pretty amazing that we had snow for both of the fat bike races we hosted this year. It was not a particularly good snow year but we lucked out. So glad to share this with folks- fatbiking is so much fun on groomed trails. #mountainstatefatbikechamps this past weekend did not disappoint. Lung busting climbs, a big rippy/slippy descent, party stops, and all our friends from near and far made the day. For the first time in a long time I even got to race my own event. Thanks to all that made it happen!
Wrapping up a whirlwind trip that saw high desert, Sonoran desert, small hills, big mountains, coyotes, javelina, antelope, new trails, old trails, dirt roads, who knows what’s under the snow, roads I’ve been down, roads I haven’t , lots of old memories, new ones, racing, exploring, beers, tacos, notebooks, -8, 80, snowstorms, heat, tornados, frozen feet, sun burn, bike shops, bike companies, bike thoughts, and bike dreams. Did I mention bikes? Sheesh.
I was looking for sun, but now I wish I had brought my fat bike!
